Born right here in Casper back in 2006, FireRock Steakhouse has become a go to spot for quality, comfort, and classic Wyoming hospitality.
Located in McMurry Business Park, this locally grown gem serves only USDA Angus beef, aged 28 days and hand-cut in-house before hitting their signature oak wood-fired grill.
The result? Steaks that are rich, smoky, and unforgettable.

But FireRock goes beyond beef with hearty pastas, fresh seafood, stacked burgers, and a top-tier wine list that rounds out every visit.
Open daily for lunch and dinner, it’s the kind of place where everyone feels welcome, whether you're celebrating or just craving something exceptional.

The Casper community is mourning the loss of 18-year-old Sammantha Brooks, who died in a tragic accident on Wyoming Highway 487 after her car collided with an elk on July 14.

Sammantha, riding in the front passenger seat, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene, while her twin sister Hannah survived thanks to a friend’s quick actions.

Authorities believe speeding and fatigue played roles in the crash, with reports noting Sammantha was not wearing a seatbelt.

Described by her mother Sarah Hardy as a “ray of light,” Sammantha worked at Texas Roadhouse and aspired to become a certified nursing assistant.

The family now faces both emotional and financial hardship, prompting coworker Alicen Outlaw to launch a fundraiser for support.

Sammantha’s loss highlights the need for safe driving on Wyoming’s wildlife-prone roads, as her memory inspires those who knew her to treasure each day.
